Love is lost every day
I miss the chance in every way
The chance to love another day
The chance to have a woman stay
The chance to give my feelings to
anyone with whom I choose
Life is lost the same old way
I miss the chance every day
The chance to live with no regrets
The chance to run my fingers over frets
The chance to give what I get
to anyone that I have met
Thought is lost every day
I forget the things I need to say
The chance to make her want to stay
The chance to make her love me anyway
The chance to let our thoughts convey
our feelings true in every way
Touch is lost the same old way
I loose the chance every day
The chance to touch someone today
The chance to feel the things I say
The chance to touch a broken soul
to fix the painful open hole
The point is lost every day
I lost the point anyway
The point was to write and have it heard
The point was to pass the written word
The point was to stand up and say
who's gonna read this anyway?.....
