Rest your head on my shoulder
It’s late where you are
So far away and close to me
My kiss upon your brow

I feel your tiredness in words
Short sentences and grunts
What I would give to be there
Soothe away the cares of the day

Caught between here and there
We are left with only hope
One day we will be within reach
To taste the kiss we can only dream

For now my love, hold me
Bound by what we reveal
In quiet moments shared
Fantasy of what life could be

Giving came easily for us
Responding to some deeper need
Recognized like minds and thoughts
We hold on to our beliefs

As sun rises over you - I sleep
And when day is done - I awake
Kiss you goodnight my sweet
To dream until the day we meet

I've felt this passion...this longing. It fills yet leaves you wanting. That may not make sense to many, bu I know you understand ;o)

How the longing must be difficult ... the ache to just touch and comfort ... I pray with all my heart that your dreams come true ... hugs n love Jan
