Never properly tuned for a vacant chamber
A note of pain vibrates through every fiber
No counterpart to create a perfect harmony
The first note dies and slowly fades away
Aching echoes cast a shadow of melancholy
New darker thoughts begin to emerge
Playing with emotions raw from past abuse
The resulting melody is terribly chaotic
Striking discord on a whole new scale
There is no way to escape the pandemonium
Caught in the crescendo of repressed feelings
Suffering deeply under this pounding onslaught
Love can hurt in such a wide range of ways
All alone in this heartrending symphony
Bearing the loneliness in unvoiced agony
Soon the dismal pain clouds all awareness
The world is a bleak scene for one alone
A thought of love was the provenance
Sole producer of this mood altering opus [comments] => 3 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 13 [informant] => pl_rage [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Sad, but beautiful. So touching, a very good poem.
