I wonder what you think of when you look into my eyes If you're searching for my soul, or looking for the lies But I'm only me when you're not around And my loudest of convictions escape with no sound You'll see just a piece of a mind so complex Do you want me to have your baby Or do you just want the sex I wish I could show you there's so much more But you can't see through a closed bedroom door I'm afraid I can't make things any clearer I'm not the same person I see in the mirror It may sound crazy, these things that I claim To everyone else I always look the same You're wise in insisting there's a lot more to me A whole other side you've yet to see But you'll never get to hear me in another tone For I am only beautiful when I'm all alone. 2003

Wonderful poem. All the things we want to show to people, how we really are, but sometimes we just can't. Very recognizable.
Keep it going!
