When I First Saw You...

When I first saw you My initial thought was, "Wow, she's bangable." and "Sure, I'd hit that." But then we became friends And I saw that you weren't just a pretty face And I started falling for you And I wanted you Not just for who you are on the outside But for the wonderful person you are on the inside. And I held back these feelings But I eventually told you And I thought it would be the happiest day of my life Then you said you didn't like me And "we" would never happen So now I must hold back my feelings And be just your friend So I don't lose you completely.

Good poem. It remindes me of what happened to me in the past with friends of mine that I fell for. -Steve- |
