A formerly girl sitting on the road
Entranced by signs on the tar
Claimed that her future was dark
And fled toward the lamplights
To find a haven from scary darkness.

Can you explain what your poem means?. This poem is really nice and I think it means that this girl
is trying to find her way to a heaven of some kind.
