U don't understand me,
You don't understand, The pain I've been through,
You don't understand, What its like being close to you,
You cant understand my love,
You don't understand, What I feel for you,
You don't know what I mean to me,
To know that you are safe.
You don't know what feels like being consumed by hate,
'Cause tats what I had to do,
To try and get over you,
But alas it did not take,
These feelings I still have for you.
How can I make you understand?
How do I let you know?
About this terrible pain inside,
How can I describe,
What it means to be with you,
How am I supposed to tell you?
All I do is get tongue tied,
Thats what Im like when Im with you.
Yet are cold around me,
What have you got to hide?
I know something bothering you,
Deep down, deep down inside,
"I know you all to well",
Something we both say allot,
But yet i'm held at arms reach.
What, did you think me stupid?
Not to notice this,
Dont get wrong, I dont mean to dis,
But im not stupid; I thought you knew this,
So please, please tell me know,
So... hopefully I can find some bliss.

| you know why i do it. as you say 'you know me all too well'. all i am hiding is something that would hurt even more so i cannot not alas say as i dont want to hurt you no more. |
