Lying in my arms
I don't know who she is
Or where this stranger came from

You're staring off ahead
With a smile on your face
The world reflecting in your eyes
There is no time or space
Here in this far off land
I have no idea where
It's a sight to see
We both share it together

You have yet to speak
I couldn't ask for anything better
The silence is what's keeping
This moment lasting forever

I can't let you leave
I won't let you go
Without you there is no me
My lonely soul would roam

I hope I never know you
For with knowledge comes much pain
You're everything I need
You're everything I ask for
You're everything to me

This stranger is in front of me
So quiet
So peaceful
So bright
So perfect
Through the eyes of me

There is no one else around
I don't care about anyone else
No one else exists
In this place we are in now

The time has seemed so short
Though years could have passed
Without me knowing at all

Does this stranger know me
I think, why me?
Why now?
Why here?
And how?

Is there something about me
that I don't know yet
That brought this stranger to me
To experience such a moment
As this

I don't know my stranger's name
Or from where my stranger came
I don't want to know
It's better this way

I'll continue to gaze
With my stranger
With a smile
At the setting before us
For years
And for miles [comments] => 1 [counter] => 162 [topic] => 2 [informant] => the_story_of_the_year [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

This really touched me for some reason. I could picture her in my mind... I pictured myself... weirdness. Anyways, I really really liked this. Very well written.
