Hear its mournful string of song
That ties the deep notes in a melody
Haunting and so moving
With the music that can touch
The chord in every soul
That yearns for understanding
It's calm and regretful
In the flowing and bowing
Back and Forth
Back and Forth
Till the motions blend
Into a graceful harmony
Of all things lost and longing
And all those who wander
And the pain life makes
Men endure
This written hurt makes my heart strings ache and sing into forever
