Tears across the floor from eyes twenty years old
The scent of spring fills her lungs as she starts to sing
A lullaby late at night for me

Goodbye sweet world
Confessions of a girl on Valentines Day
Pushing for perfection
Trying to find the calm in her own way
Goodnight angel, angel goodnight
Please don’t let the love pass you by

If it takes me everyday I’ll find a way to dry your bloodshot eyes
We’ll watch the sun as it sets over broken skylines
Talk about all the things we love about each other
Forever and ever and ever

Goodbye sweet world
Confessions of a girl on Valentines Day
Pushing for perfection
Trying to find the calm in her own way
Goodnight angel, angel goodnight
Please don’t let the love pass you by

Goodbye sweet world
Confessions of a girl who’s never comin back
Goodbye sweet world
Goodbye sweet girl
I’m home again when’re you comin back

Again Paper... *sigh* I want the "broken skylines"... This is pure sweet perfection. There is nothing more alluring that I have ever read...

This is absolutely fantastic. After seeing Lindsey's recommendation in the forums, I couldn't resist giving your stuff a peek, and I must say I'm quite impressed. But this one is by far my favourite so far. Amazing lyrics!! What else can I say....
