long, calculated strides
Flex and contract go the legs as they run
Powerful and enchanting as the light brushes off them

Tender and caring towards their fouls
Tender and caring to those who care
Tender and caring to their mates

bumpy, as we run or soar over a fence
Flying as we run across the land
Blurry goes the scenery as I ride by
Weightless I feel when your charging

You are sensitive to people emotions
You don't judge anyone
You accept them for who they are
You don't take no gall from harrasers
You are my friend and companion
We'll take care of each other now and forever

I miss riding my Sam every day, there have been other horses but none like Sam.
I use to ride my horse Sam until I moved. I've been riding for 19 years. I don't ride anymore. I know you must miss him terribly. I am a horse lover and one of my favorite things is taking a long ride on the weekend to watch the sun rise. It is magical. There is no other animal that can thrill me like a horse.

I adore horses - I have always wanted one - although I don't think they like me very much - they always make that snorting noise when I talk to them - uhhhhh - but I think they are the most beautiful and noble animals on earth
love the poem!!

Hey Laina,

This is really good. I love horses too. Ruffian's my baby...:) You might like a poem of mine called "Back In The Saddle"

You are very prolific... keep it up but don't get too addicted...lol Talk to you later girl.
