Walking streets day and night
Just trying to find myself.
No one approves of my friends
nor the life they lead.

Caught in this world not even
knowing how to exist.
Mom, Dad doesn't know how
to cope so how can they help?

Confussion, confussion so why try?
How can life come to this?
So could be your thoughts but
someone cares, can see your hurt.

This is a great write, Emy. Yes, there is tremendous angst in teenagers these days. Life has gotten so turbulent for them. The only thing we can do it love them and do the best we can. Some make it through fine, others just seem to get lost and never recover. My heart goes out to them.

Hugs,
Rita
