the lights are out
no one is here
except me and my knife
and endless fear
of what has been
what will be
no life, just death
and tragedy
the blade hits my skin
instant release
cutting deeper, hitting veins
no sense of ease
blood flowing swiftly
head feeling light
sweet release
its over tonight
the lights come on
mom walks in
sees the blood
on my skin
crying starts
feelings of guilt
internal flower of life
begins to wilt
the light grows dim
and soon disappears
im alone in my mind
yet surrounded in fears
the light returns
time has rushed by
im in the hospital
mom wont let me die
i love u mom...
