Where Creatures Lie

Contributed by Fairy on Wednesday, 28th April 2004 @ 09:16:29 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Times have changed but still be play the same old game
I find comfort in being alone
Crying at night and wishing for the unknown.
Youre never good enough unless youre already mine.
I want what I cannot have
And hate whats already in my possession.
I despise your fate,
I envy you, for you never look back in time.
On what you didnt receive for free.
Not a thing was handed to you,
Its all legit and I cant handle that.
Cause I wasnt able to have anything on my own.
Always kept on a leash
That shortens day by day.
Im giving up and theyre growing stronger,
Until one day
My life as we know it, will not exist.
The frozen moments, captured in time,
Cannot be held a lie.
For I have proof and recognize this place.
Your laugh still makes me do crazy things,
Going into a world of unknown possibilities.
Where youre always there for me.
The sun never rises where I live.
Always lonesome and mystifying
A nightmare I yearn for.
Cause reassuringly, Itll never leave me
Or play me like some f u c k I n g game.
I know what to expect in my world where creatures lie.
Come join me now,
Hold my hand until it disintegrates,
If ever your love should last that long.
