"Behind the Closed Door"

Slightly confused he lies there motionless
staring blindly into the eyes of his love
devotion so very unconditional and true,
consistently evolving and becoming less blue.
A fervent love mixed with the tears he displays
shedding irony by the gallon savage untruths
searching for the pearls in the depths
of on-looking eyes. Sparkling emotion drifting
away from her visions of their exquisite
times intrude upon his mind,
making him crave her touch,
Secretly craving so much more.
To quench the thirst of burning fire,
raging in passion's veins He looks to the lips
whispering a silent song,
Breath of love that gently caresses his being
with warmth he forgets the cold and lonely nights
now that she forever complete completely in love
He stretches out time as if tempting the phantasms
found about this great foreboding air, wrapping
Himself in the sweet embrace of his dream like love.
