Walk up to the hutch; take a good look inside Filled with her goodies and placed with pride. Some small token from a friend she loved so, A dried rose from Grandpaw given long years ago. The Stories the china could tell of years gone past. Of birthdays and holidays, oh how they last. The turkey thats been served on that big platter A lot of work, but to Maw it didnt matter, Theres the nick nack I got her from the five and dime. Back when I was young, somewhere around nine. All through the years this hutch she has filled. For her to stop, I hope she never will. Gifts of Love she has placed inside with pride. Is like the Love for us that she will never hide. Just like in the hutch treasures she has stored. In her heart there is always room for one more.
