Looking through broken glass we see blood red skies
Hoping for tomorrow we cry through jet black eyes
As we dismiss, all of this for what it is
Perfect in every way

Where I can barely breathe
Suicide notes and long lost hopes help us sing our lullabies
But a brand new syringe and words of revenge
Help us when we try to shine
I laugh like you
I cry like you
I bleed like you I die like you
You dont care
You never care
Angel please dont fly so high

If these walls had eyes
Theyd wish they were blind
So they wouldnt have to see
All the typical chemicals
You put into me
Let the systematic shutdown begin

James, This is ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER READ IN MY LIFE! I'm like sobbing here and this isn't good cause I'm at work. Such a powerful poem. Revenge is so bittersweet. I hope writing this helped get a little bit of that out. Would make an awesome song!
