My dearest mom, with care imbued
Admiration and love accrued
With tenderness and amity
Just know how much you mean to me

No set of words or sum of time
Can due credit your paradigm
Since that first day in mid-August
You've filled my life with faith and trust

A matriarch without compare
Trial to triumph, you've been there
For years gone past and years ahead
I'll cherish all the joy you've spread

Gladly walk that extra mile
To thank you for every smile
Within these words I think you'll find
I love you mom---

You're one of a kind

...I wish i was your mum...:)

Beautiful piece my friend, im sure if any mother read that they would love you, but your mother must feel like a goddess, a queen, perfection.

Inspirational write my friend, your words fill my heart with a million more, and the begginning word is always, amazing

Luke

WONDERFUL! How blessed your Mom is to have a son like you who can write and who obviously cares deeply for her. What a terrific way to show your gratitude. You are a special son indeed.

What mother would not be thrilled to get this from her son.
Making her so special........and appreciating what is fine.
I know she just loved it and rightly so.......but the thought behind it must have made her glow!
love,con sue

"I bought a blank card..."
How wonderful that you did! Surely no one else's words could have meant so much to her!

Funny.... I was browsing for a card in a store not to long ago and was struck by the thought that the pre-printed cards include rather lame "poetry". Truly, it would seem rather ridiculous for YOU to buy one of those. As you've certainly proved here - you're above that! Thanks for sharing this!!!
