EAGLE'S WINGS

WE DO

SOAR

SultryRose's Signatures

They that wait upon the Lord
Shall find strength to run life's race.
They shall soar on heights with eagles
And be carried by God's grace.

They shall run and not grow weary;
They shall walk yet never faint.
They shall bear their cross with patience
As a tried and trusted saint.

Like the hart ascends the mountainside
With quick and nimble grace,
Like the hind who follows closely...
They shall scale the highest place.

Their strength is more than human
And cannot be called their own,
For 'tis given without measure
As they bow before God's throne.

Yes, they bow in human frailty
Seeking just a moment's rest,
But they rise in strength and honor!
By His Hand renewed, refreshed.

The world may call this weakness
And may shout, "Don't kneel, Stand tall!"
But come, O weary Pilgrim,
Bow thy knee, thine heart, thine all....

For thou, too, may wait upon Him
And find strength to win life's race.
Now rise and soar with eagles!
.... Carried by God's grace!

.... But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles...... Isaiah 40:31

This reminds me of a song my sister and I use to go around singing.

They that wait on the Lord
shall renew their strength
They will mount as eagles.
Teach me Lord to wait.
Goes something like that.
I've always luved this bible scrpiture.

Great write!
luv, huggs,
emy
