Array ( [sid] => 47284 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => ~ PRAYER ~ [time] => 2004-05-13 00:05:29 [hometext] => Continued From Last Night's Prayer [bodytext] => Lord, let me know always that there is no
pride so dangerous as the pride of holiness,
thinking that I am holier than others, let
me flee to Jesus and hide myself in Him until
I am clothed with His humility and let His
humility alone be my holiness.

Help me to make an act of Penitence and
of Contrition of my sins to keep my soul
occupied with it's sin often, let me have
the deep consciousness that I am little,
nothing, a small pebble, a grain of sand,
a very small part of this earth and a sinner
at all times and that by Your grace I am here
to proclaim Your glory and to receive Your mercy.

Lord, remember my sins no more by Your
forgiveness, but let me always remember them
to keep me holy, and clear my consciousness
every day to remind me that I am a sinner saved
by Your grace and mercy and make me know always
that being saved by You makes my Salvation
precious and real to me. Take me up in
Your arms and hold me close to You, melt
away all of my sins and crown me with Your
precious Blood, the Blood of the Lamb!

Let me call upon Your Spirit to be the
health and light of my soul each day and
convict me of my helplessness. Give me Your
grace that by Your grace I will be able to
preach to those who do notknow Your love and
Your riches, help my soul to be filled with
trust, worship and Your presence, my God, in
amidst my deepest troubles, for You are my
Creator, the All of my nothingness, and my
Redeemer in my sinfulness.

I exalt You, Lord, and give You all the glory!
Let me dwell in the full light of Your Holy,
redeeming love, give me the experience of the
full indwelling of Divine Love, which comes
through Christ and the Holy Spirit, deliver me,
Father, from myself! Let my faith seek only the
glory that comes from You,take the glory of
this life from me and don't let me seek anything
but the glory that comes from You,

Don't let pride reign in me and help
me to remember each day to pray for
the gift of humility, the most needful and
blessed part of my Salvation, don't
let pride and self work secretly within me, make
me aware of how You alone, by Your incoming and
Your mighty power, can cast them out of me,
replace the old self in me with Your Divine
nature and make me humble before You, Lord.

Let the Cross, the death and the grave be my
path to Your glory and let my one desire and
my most fervent prayer be to be like You, and
let me gladly accept whatever can humble me
before You, let this be my glory!! Lord, let a
deeper humility in my life bring a deeper and
fuller blessing to me. By the Holy Spirit dwelling
in me, teach me to let the glory of You be
everything to me and free me from the glory
of men and of self and help me to grow stronger
in my faith giving all glory to You.

Help me to learn complete obedience in You, to
count myself as nothing except as a servant to
do and to suffer Your will, to pray and to humble
myself before You and to pray to You and ask You
for this precious gift of humility each day. Help
me to accept every humiliation that comes my way
and to yield myself to You to be humble, to be
like You in my habits and dispositions and to
seek meekness and death to myself, strengthen my
soul each day to look up and claim and receive
the true fullness of Your Spirit.
