Why I fell in love with you, is so clearly to see,
You gently stir in your sleep,
As dreams inside you, gently creep.

I could sit and watch you forever more,
You make my insides melt, right through to my core,
I lean over and softly touch you face,
A touch which no time could ever erase.

You pull the covers up tightly around you,
If you could see me, if only you knew,
Knew how happy I was just to sit there,
Watching you sleeping without a single care.

I can hear the faint reminance of a snore,
One of the things about you I adore,
I look at you and smile inside,
My love for you is impossible to hide.

How I wish you would just open your eyes,
Eyes that have the ability to light up the darkest of skies,
Or reach up and stroke my skin,
And set off the desires deep within.

To my delight you look up at me,
With you for eternity is where I want to be,
And as we hold onto eachother so tight,
Loving eachother in the still of the night. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 151 [topic] => 55 [informant] => pixie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
