Mark a night of crying
Gut-wrenching screams
Mark a day of dying

All in my head
The memories crumble
Of who I once was
Daring, yet humble

I once possessed glory
I once possessed fame
Now I lie here bleeding,
Full of shame

Music was once my everything
Now it's become my death
It all recedes from me
With this last breath

The soothing melodies
I once produced
Now sit on the shelves
Without a use

Such irony, once unimaginable
The satire of it all
The only thing left
is the final fall

Goodbye MTV
Sayanara VH1
my sound
you no longer need

Just don't do a behind the music,
that's all I plead

interesting view, yet almost everyone in this world has a motivation for money, power, or control.

i understand where you are coming. and i like the strong images.

but don't people always talk about which bills they have to pay, or how much this/that costs? the world relays on money, and if they didn't make money, they wouldn't be able to bring the public Music. so it's a rather controversial topic..Music!

Wow, excellent post...I am coincidentally writing this to you on the day Keith Moon died. I don't think Kurt could have said it better himself.
