Gilded was the word
Made me laugh
Howl with censure
How apropos
Indignant moniker
Life’s full of surprises
But never the lottery
Riske and rotten
Numbering askew
Tied one on
And then another
Stacked up
Chronological order
Debatable
Quantity versus quality
Reclining or declining years
Never quite clear
Have another
One more for the road
Depleted
Conversation
Stalled in low gear
What about the weather
Yes it’s raining again
Taxi?
Yes, thank you

A really new way to present a poem I like the shortness of the lines it makes good reading too.

A little different for you, but I can still relate. The feeling is all too real.
