into my soft, white flesh
Pinpricks,
like minute red rubies
Glisten as the form...
growing in size, then sliding
Sliding down my thin fingers...
dripping off their tips
I sense no pain
Only ecstacy runs through my veins
The blood,
My soul
Mixing with my ever flowing tears...
On this final farewell,
this soggy, bloodstained page
No longer of use,
so i use myself...
abuse myself.
My last message
My last ounce of strength.
They find me here,
throat all strung up...
And hacked into my arm
all red, raw and jaggard
My final words to this cruel world...

very sad in NIN sense...hoping this isn't to become a reality. you realize that if a body is found, the first thing they see is the mess - all the body fluids discharged and the bowels empty. it won't be as 'informative' as this poem would make it out to be. the coroner would just make a note for the inquest. had to go through this with/for a friend(didn't think much of me, i guess) ... not a good thing

I can relate to you here. Went through the same thing at one point in my life. But instead of " I am free at last" it was "living in misery". Just think carefully which path to take at the crossroad

Having carefully read your poem. Before you take the final step go to a busy casualty station at any hospital and see what mutilated bodies are brought in for repair. either that or see if you can get permission to visit your local morgue. I have worked in both and suicide is definately not the answer.

that was a very good poem but VERY sad. if it's true i hope u thought over what u were gonna do very carefully. think of all the people that will miss u and then think of the people that u don't think will miss u. they really will even if it doesn't seem like it at first. you are loved and if u don't see that open ur eyes really wide and realize that u are!
