i miss you every day,
the pain never goes away it comes in waves,
and hits you when you're weak,
sometimes is hard to speak,
because i think of the way that it ended up,
i know you want me to stay strong,
but i think of when i did you wrong,
my temper i can lose control,
please forgive me, i never meant to say the things i did, or do the things i do,
it's just the way that i protect myself,
from the truth that lurks ever so close,.
everyday i heal slower, i'm stepping back,
the clock ticks on and i'm still running,
i can't control my feet or move my body,
but i run so fast it's all a blur, i'm running through life to escape the truth,
please believe me when i say,
i'm learning more day by day,
if only i knew what i do know,
it isnt much but it's better,
then when you were here,
i regret each minuite we fought,
instead we have no more time
instead i make these useless rhymes to ease my sorrow,
i feel so conceited locked up in denial,
please forgive me for awhile,
