Grateful I am now once again to be free, From that hateful world I was bound, I had the chance I finally could see, I felt fear, from my mouth not a sound,
That world isn't one that I willfully want, It scares me to think that it could, in my dreams late at night the images haunt, I never thought that they would,
I never knew fear intil it starred back at me, Revieling its ugly true face, I wish all the images I never did see, I wish the picture just would erase,
The beating, cold steal the lost lonly eyes, Each time I met someone and passed, The reaching and wanting the sad lonely cries, Wishing that moment won't last,
Praying and hoping it will be over soon, To walk on God's great green earth, Wishing and wanting staring late at the moon, What freedom really is worth,
To me there's no price that money could buy, To feel what its like to be free, For those who can't see, and wondering why, Behind locked doors it was me.
