that began with
maybe

No one heard its song

Undaunted,
it began again with
sorrow

Again,
no one heard its song

It sang the sweetest
tune of all
that started with its
pain

It saw a child turn
to it, then quickly turn
again

Continents clashed as
it hit discord,
mountain pyres scorched
its heavens,
trembles
rocked its aching
breast, and

while eternity mocked
a weeping world,
its own earth eaten by
its saddest rains,

no song brought
warmth, no
selfless time

because within
our own
atmospheres,
we seldom hear
another’s

pain

Gah! Why couldn't I think up an analogy as vibrant and as excellent as this?

. . . perhaps because I just couldn't. This was meant for you to find, and for you alone to write, in your own inimitable style. You consistently improve both your work and my expectations every time I visit your pile.

A thousand pairs of clapping hands, I give you.

You had me interested from the very beginning but these particular lines absolutely grabbed hold of me. It become very real right just then.

You have amazing talent... Well done!
