Array ( [sid] => 48146 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Was that asking too much [time] => 2004-05-18 20:48:28 [hometext] => We all need to let our loved ones know how much we care about them. [bodytext] => An occasional night out, our escape God knows we needed a break.
A kind word a gentle touch, tell me
was that asking too much
A laugh or maybe two
time to discuss just me, just you
Time to figure out how we became so
out of touch tell me
was that asking too much
A gentle stroke on my face a kiss on my forhead done in a secluded place.
Telling me how you appreciated my everyday chores keeping the peace when its
frantic confirmation I'm not being taken
for granted.
You ask me how you could have shown me down the line the simple words Thank You
come to mind.
You say you're sorry after all these years as I yet listen through a build up of tears. You now ask what can you do.I say too late we're through. Too bad you did'nt know together old we were suppose to grow. Our relationship now closed like a chapter in a book all I asked was for you to take the time to look. Guess what I was actually there all those years into you I disappeared. Desperately yearning for the gentleness of your touch tell me
