I dont think that it hurts that much
Because it hurts so much to stay alive

I sit alone, the moon luminates my arm,
Such empty skin like a new paint by numbers,
Its time to Fill in the gaps and manufacture art

But then when I experience the pain,
I cogitate if I should terminate my life,
The steel hovers over my wrists,
And above in the heavens it starts to rain

Whats the use of having confidence,
When all it does is mess with your head,
I dont need it just give me Sustenance,
End this misfortunate, painful fable
And watch me bleed alone on my bed

So end this overture and cut straight to dying,
Dont blame me for ending this poignant life,
And I wont care if your eyes start crying,
Because for once in this endless narritive,
I get to choose my own vocation in a knife,
And by my hand, my death I could never forgive
I forgive and then I end it

Does it hurt as much as people say to die
I dont think that it hurts that much
Because it hurts so much to stay alive

this is a darkly beautiful poem that i enjoyed but felt for at the same time. i really hope u are able to overcome the horrible obstacles that make you feel this way.

this poem is just such a beautiful out pour of your emotions.i could relate to every line as i feel like this so often. if you need someone to talk to i will always listen.
