Array ( [sid] => 48513 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => False Care [time] => 2004-05-21 06:17:41 [hometext] => I wrote this one about when I spent 2 and a half years in care. [bodytext] => My mum and dad put me into care when I was thirteen,
As she said I was the most out of control thing you’d ever seen,
I was on the road to self-destruction,
To dangerous situations I needed no introduction.

I hated them , I didn’t understand,
I thought they were the worst parents to walk this land,
It felt so strange being out into care,
I despised the fact that I was left here.

The staff in there were corrupt and very fake,
They only made promises that they could break,
The way they treated some kids in there was criminal,
All the while they were called a professional.

I met so many traitors in the time I was there,
The whole lot of them had bull***** to share,
Everyone of us in there had our own troubles,
We had adults around ,just waiting to burst our bubbles.

The only qualification they had were in lying,
Some of them laughed while we sat there crying,
Whisper wicked words when no-one else was around,
Then tell you wouldn’t be believed if you uttered a sound.

They weren’t fit to be called care assistants,
I can’t believe that some of them were parents,
The attitudes and their actions were the furthest from fair,
That’s what you get for receiving false care.
