And slowly the pressure builds and I’ve isolated myself in sadness and they try to set me free because to them this is the equivalent of misery. But this place still comforts me. It’s all I’ve ever known. Can’t trust myself to let my true colors be shown cause I’m afraid if I do they’ll know I’ve grown closer to my paranoias. Somewhere deep down I enjoy it—the bittersweet taste of sorrow but somehow inside I feel hollow knowing that there must be something more than panic and putting up with endless antics and slowly growing ever frantic. Wasting away with dreams of tragic occurrences and ticking time bombs and endless streams of thought keeping me awake—the demons I thought I’d fought but apparently not beaten cause I haven’t gained an ounce of freedom. All I have is forced to hide as I drown the poison down inside and the only thing that comforts me is a page that I’ve filled up with words but blank pages are all I see and failure’s all I’ve ever heard.
