Array ( [sid] => 48573 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I want to run away [time] => 2004-05-21 18:58:47 [hometext] => I got in an argrument with a friend at work, we worked things out and this song was born [bodytext] => What ever happened to the days of "I love you"
All we do now is avoid it
and when we say it, we really don't mean it.
We get so hung up on the complications.

All that I do and say in life
seems to turn out wrong
sometimes I think it's best to run away

(What you're doing)
I just got to get away from all this stress and noise
(Where you're going)
Some place with some peace of mind where I can find some joy.

What ever happened to the days of forgiveness.
Grudges and quarrels all around me I see.
Saying your sorry makes you a weakling.
It makes me so sick I just want to leave

Even when I do what's right
it always turns out wrong.
That's why I think it's best to run away.

(What you're doing)
I just got to get away from all this stress and noise.
(Where you're going)
Some place with some peace of mind where I can find some joy.

What a blessing it must be to give music to words.....Loved the line "Some place with some peace of mind where I can find some joy" How wonderful that we have a God to run to.

Blessings
