Array ( [sid] => 48807 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Nocturnal [time] => 2004-05-23 16:27:26 [hometext] => i feel like this alot and im getting tireder and tireder [bodytext] => Eyelids drooping,
Tiredness coursing through my body in tides,
Nodding and starting,
Nodding and starting.
I rebel against my instincts.
I dont need sleep,
What a waste of time-
dreaming, only to wake up again and the do the same things all over again, and so sleep provides the only diversity.
Create your own diversity whilst others sleep.
Create a living dream rather than the conformist imaginary.
Be awake amongst the sleepers,
And revel in the loneliness.
They are all so unaware, and oblivious in their state.
I am alert and focused, the only one awake.
They are powerless to the night,
And I am the one holding the light- I will not succumb and I will overrun their stimuli.
So dont try and sleep, surrendering eyes,
Not understanding this need I possess to lie in this mass of unconsciousness.
Know I am the only one, experiencing the delights of dark quietness.
Know I make my own conscious compared to their subconscious indifference; only authorized as sun sets.
I make my own conscious, dont forget, ignorant eyelids needing no nighttime safety blanket.
You are not alone in your pair, and I am not alone in this bed.
Embracing this solidarity.
