He closes his eyes as the violin and cello players begin to play.
He picks up the baton in one hand and the microphone in the other.
The chorus begins to join in behind him on the single note which begins this song.

There is no road
only the journey.
A spot light on
a darkened world.

There is no song
only the memories
of loves gone wrong
and agony.

As life goes on
I learn its lessons.
All that is good
will come to dust.

And sorrows song
rings with much laughter
on tongues of old
and bitter men.

The words echo throughout the theatre
All the instruments playing perfectly
Every voice ringing on key
And then it is over
The conducter opens his eyes and exits the stage

A powerful notion, and its realization is captivating. Great lyrics and an awe inspiring picture

And the crowd stands with great applause, as tears stream down their eyes. For his music has danced upon their hearts. This was awesome......Five stars all the way Archie.

I really like this but not sure why. I think the words just ring very true for me. A nice summary of how so many people feel about life, I think.
