Emotions on display
as crippled pilgrims run
in circles
dazed and confused
searching
for elusive love,
night becomes day
the moon is replaced by the sun
ancient mysteries remain
answers to questions
are never enough.
So many crossroads
the choices
of rituals and routines
are so insane
still we dream
and believe
in love,
no one really knows
how to navigate
the maze
so we go on
with little pleasures
and heartbreaking pain.

Great poem Secretwind,
No guidance so to speak, and people all run around to seek........love, and to be loved, and yet so few really know how.......I liked the ending to your poem.....it's a heartbreaking plan with much pain is what it is!
Good write about daily life.....honest too
