My grandfather is in the hospital and isn't going away. He is dying, and i cant stop it. I dont understand it, and i dont really want to. Comment as a prayer for him and i both. [bodytext] => why are you sick
will you ever come home
i miss you so much
Are you gonna die
i don't like death
so don't die on me
you'll get better
I promise you
I'll take care of you
So you won't die
I'm lost without you
Just a little bit longer
Hold on for me
For your dreams
For your life
For your love
For your family
Keep your eyes open
I can't watch you go
Wake up you have to
I love you too much
I can't let you go
Can't see you pass by
But you're gone now

I am so terribly sorry for his loss and yours. Death is not easy to accept, forgive or understand. My loved one is dying now and I feel this poem very deeply. Just keep him in your heart. He will never be very far from you.

Sometimes death seems like the end of our lives, but try and think of it as a new lease on LIFE for him. He no longer has to suffer and he is in a much better place than any hospital bed can offer. Loved ones seem to die, but we keep them alive by keeping them in our hearts. My prayers go out to you, your broken heart, and your family who grieves with you. And I pray for him.
Angel always...godspeed...joni

This made me cry at first, but I'd like to share with you this true story, my own experience.
My great aunt, my mom's favorite aunt, was dying. She was in the hospital and did not want to be a vegetable. When we were visiting her, she passed. I cried harder than I had in a long time. Through the tears I told my mom, "She can't go yet, we didn't get to tell her we love her. We didn't say goodbye" Later that day we got a phone call from her son saying that Ginny woke up and demanded to see me. She was just that way, a grouchy, blunt, "cut the crap" kind of lady... everyone did just as she said, no matter what. I came to her again and she told me this:
Say what you gotta say right now because I'm not doing this again. Its too hard and it hurts too much to fight.
I told her I love her and I'll miss her. She replied, "It's one thing to miss someone, but it's selfish to want them to stay here forever just because you don't want to miss them."
I hope my story helps somehow.
Love,
Chelsea

Everyone has been so supportive during this, Thanks all of you for the prayers! my grandfather came home this weekend, and all because of faith in God. It is so awesome that He can do this for people like me. There is a reason for everythin, and this time, that reason is all of you. Thanks so much for the prayers!!!!!
