Midnight comes in silence
And casts shadows o'er her grave
Taken swift in anguish
Just one less soul to save
He weeps upon her tombstone
Crying prophecies of love
His tears, they glisten mournfully
In light from stars above
By grace he fell in love with her
A forlorn gothic beauty
But death took her away from him
In its tragic, awestruck duty
A somber, quiet rose she was
Now stained with crimson red
He cries for the love he sadly lost
That shall sing among the dead

AWESOME! Bravo!!! So well written...the best things come to you when you can't sleep. I know many nights where I've also awakened to the rampant thoughts in my head and I have to write them down! GREAT job! |
