Create me a potion so pure
Something to recapture the love we once shared
Help him see what we used to have
Help him find his way back to me
If he ever loved me, let him return
To his special place I hold for him I my heart
Let him see that my love for him is true and unselfish
Let him know he has my heart and I would treat him so good
Just let him see how we used to be
The closeness, that special bond, the love

Athena, goddess of war and wisdom
Please let me understand what I did wrong?
Why did I lost the one I loved with all my heart?
Why did I fall in love with a marine?
One who could easily lose his life tomorrow, and devastate mine
Make him see that I was one of the best things in his life
If he wants nothing to do with me, help me let him go and move on
Help us resolve our problem and make amends

Ares, god of warfare and murder
Please, I beg of you keep my marine, my love safe
Protect him under your watchful eyes
Keep him from the line of fire in Iraq
Bring him back home alive in one piece to me
Losing him was hard enough
But life without him would be impossible
So please, I bet of you
Keep him alive and see to a safe homecoming
He needs to come home for not only his family, but for me

Goddess of Love
Goddess of Wisdom
God of War
Help me get back the one I love and understand why he went away
Protect him while he defends my freedom and our country
Bring my love home to me
I beg of you, please grant me these few small requests!
