to give love from my heart
yet it falls to the ground.
The heart gets trampled and stomped
by the cold and the lost
now my heart's had enough

My soul cried out
(My soul cried out because my life can not make a differance)
no one had the courage to answer
My soul cried out
(My soul cried out because I live in a world of bitterness)
all sought to bring themselves laughter

I was so lost in the dark
no one gave me advice
in the winter of my youth
So I must find my own place
where with love I can share
with out avarice

My soul cried out
no one dared to give me an answer
My soul cried out
all sought for themselves to bring laughter

I had planned to remove all music I had written from the site but I changed my mind. My music pursuit is at a stand still. At the time I wrote this song I was sad because a lot of things were going wrong or questionable. One of them was the number of reads I was getting for poems I was posting was dropping. As of Today 9/27/04 reads are still dropping but I am able to deal with that positively. I took a month off the sight to deal with my sadness and anger. I am very grateful to be a part of this site and I plan on extending when the time comes. I hope to improve as a writer though I believe I am a good writer already. I thank those who read this poem and hope this is a good explanation for the words of this song. Archie please don't leave. we were just getting to know you. Please stay around a while longer........these are beautiful words, and I really can hear them to music, they are neat.
Never judge your work by what others judge it to be......you are the poet, you can set yourself free from others.......all poets know, or should, commenters are good, but they shouldn't help you decide whether your work is bad or good.......You already know deep down inside.
Poetic hugs
consue
