You and your sober eyes
You are the same thing to me
Hands full of lies….

I thought I knew you once…
Or was that the beer?
I thought I knew your charming face
We were so without fear!

Your smile seems so strange to me
Why do you touch me so?
This is so new and weird to me
I just don’t know…..

Your voice rings strangly
Into my cell
I hear you altered
My soul is just in hell

I havn’t seen you for so long
Havn’t heard your voice
It’s driving me insain
It’s not my choice

If you touch me I’ll scream
I might touch you back
It could be familiar
Or knowingly Lack

Please just stay away
Don’t ask me to visit
Your making me scream

This was a really great read, you know I know so many people. Who have all been in and out of rehab, and to tell you the truth. Not one of them has ever changed. It is truly sad when you think of a loved one has changed, and then wham right in your face with the same bullcrap. I give you a lot of props for saying no more. It takes a very strong minded woman to say such a thing, when most will just say. Well I love him, and he says thing will get better over time, but in all reality we all know it's, nothing more than just a bunch of lies. Great job, and thank you kindly on your comment.

i know how you feel...to be with someone for so long...and then something happens and it seems like ages before ya'll talk again. and then it's like he's a complete stranger! Why can't people just stay the same???

Great write..'
Blessed Be!
