A frightening feeling arises from deep within,
It can lay dormant for days or even years,
But when it is active in wash the fears.

Scared to be alone and by myself,
Sat up here on this big and lonely shelf,
I am terrified when no-ones around,
Jump out of my skin at the slightest sound.

Heat beat begins to race,
As fear and anxiety pick up the pace,
Mouth is dry and fingers tremble,
Of a lone and shaking leaf I resemble.

I feel vulnerable and very uneasy,
My stomachs in knots and I start to feel queasy,
I wish someone would come through the door,
So I can feel safe and sound once more.

The panic and nausea is setting in,
An icy breeze lives under my skin,
I pray that nothing is coming to get me,
This happens every time that my paranoia is set free.

That was kind of a scary poem. I could vividly picture it. But, it scares me that you have so much paranoia. It seems to me that it comes from somewhere deep within yourself, a problem that you alone can fix. Best wishes to you...that you may overcome the fear of yourself.

Hey chick a dee
Don't think of that stuff. Being alone is a time to learn yourself.
While paranoia is just a great sense of awareness.
Greater sense of awareness isn't needed to be scared of. I think It's there to help you more strongly. So don't think of it as a bad thing. It's helping you grow.
God bless you. I pray you are and feel safe.

Loved the imagery and I could feel what you said in your writing.

Awesome part!
The panic and nausea is setting in,
An icy breeze lives under my skin,
I pray that nothing is coming to get me,
This happens every time that my paranoia is set free.

You have a wonderful way with words!!

~Kris~
