The tears of an angel
Fall down the sky
The tears of an angel
As it solemnly cries
It sheds its tears anonymously
Its golden wings quiver
And its glowing eyes
don’t show
Its halo in place,
Hanging low
It drops its tears onto earth
The tears are a gift from
A irreplaceable angel
Letting its pain and grace
Fall to earth’s lonely face
The angel glimmers of righteousness
And its love so compelling
The angel sheds its tears
Just for us
So radiant and understanding.
I welcome the tears
Letting them flow into life
Letting them spread through the
Whole world
As one angel cries..
