and all it's levels of evil
and walk into a diner
and stare at the yellow skinned waitress
and pinch her greasy behind
and order a quickie behind the counter
then return
On The Road
Jack Kerouac style

lets ask for direction
to a place that doesn't exist
then go there and
MAKE IT EXIST
lets take turns
drinking and driving
smoking and driving
sleeping and drinking

lets melt our cell phones into beads
and write free prose in the dust
lets crawl around the desert for days
searching for the Peyote drug

lets talk for hours with drifters
about sex and life
princesses and monsters
and stay quiet for days
only to ask
“where are the keys?”

lets de-tour around cities
lets de-tour around America
and the World

lets gently grind
beneath
the skyscraper desert
and live inside the
immortal
labyrinth
that is
our
road to
l o v e
