But they just make me blue
Secrets told behind my back?
I'm tellllin' you that's just wack

Have I ever given you a reason not to trust?
I never spilled your secrets of hate or lust
You were the ones I trusted most
But are my feelings like a ghost?
You didn't see, nor think, nor care
But when you were upset I was there
So if I died right here, right now
If after this poem was my final bow
Would you have noticed?
Would you have cared?
Or were we friends because you were dared?

I may not live as long as you
But at least I can say, as a friend, I was true
I never spoke about you, never left you out
I always showed you kindness; what friendship's all about

These secrets that you kept from me
Hurt worse than insults from an enemy
So I ask you once again
Would you care if I were dead? [comments] => 5 [counter] => 188 [topic] => 16 [informant] => Kie-Kie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 25 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )

Initially I read this poem bec. you have the same name as I do. It is odd in a way bec. I never knew there was another Kie on the site. Anyway...

Lots of anger in this poem. You have a writing ability and I see it in your words. The good friendships won't leave you feeling this way and I hope you find a great friend one day who isn't the way you described in your poem.
