[hometext] => I wrote this poem when I was fourteen and thinking about committing suicide.
[bodytext] => Cries of help coming from that room Thinking someone better come soon What's happening to that poor girl that's always sad Has all her hopes and dreams just gone bad Quietly listening to the pounding on the door Trying to get rid of her agony and not to hurt anymore I can see her now; tears are rolling down her face Somehow I know what it's like in her place I can match the same tone in her voice Hoping she will make the right choice As she opens her bedside drawer and brings out a gun I come to her side and tell her "things will get better hun" "I was once in your place and killed myself at fourteen" "I only saw in the world the cruel and the really mean" "I promise you things will get better than this" "Look at life and all the things you would miss" The upset girl then looked down at the gun held in her hand Her tearful eyes then looked at me like she did understand The sad girl put her gun back into the drawer As I floated up to Heaven, the place where I soar [comments] => 2 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 36 [informant] => Seans_Girl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )
