I thank the Lord each night
For sending me someone like you
One thought of your lovely smile
Turns my gray sky blue
When I think about your beauty
My day becomes so bright
And any form of darkness
Slowly fades out of sight
Youre as beautiful as an Angel
Sent from Heaven above
Youre kind and compassionate
And filled with joyful love
When I look at you
I get lost in your eyes
Theyre as peaceful as the seas
And as clear as the skies
Your encouraging spirit
Brings warmth into my heart
And Ill hold it deep inside
Until the day we part
God has truly blessed me
By placing you into my life
With one small conversation
You help release my strife
I wish to be your shelter
And protect you from every storm
In my arms Ill gently hold you
In my arms youre safe and warm
In my thoughts Ill always keep you
In my heart youll always stay
I thank God for a friend like you
Every night and every day
I have this wonderful feeling
A feeling I know is true
That God has thoughtfully blessed me
By sending me someone like you!

| I just want you to know how much this poem means to me. When I first read this poem I was about ot ball my brains out. After reading it, I had the biggest smile on my face. I had never felt so good about anything in so long. I really finally felt that there really was someone that acually really cared for me. I want you to always know that I will never forget that you wrote that this poem, and I will never forget about you. Actually I think it's goin to be inpossible to forget about you. You are someone very special to and someone that I really care about. No matter what happens between us, you will always have a part of me. As long as you keep me with you and never forget about me.(even when your married) I love you very much and I hope that we will always keep in touch with eachother always. Keep on writing, cause I believe in you and I know that you will get somewhere. |
