Array ( [sid] => 52567 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Obliviously Aware [time] => 2004-06-18 12:40:57 [hometext] => This is a poem i found that i wrote on March 6th, 2002, when i was 16. For any of you who read my poems at least semi-frequently, it shows a huge change in style and skill from that time... [bodytext] => Obliviously Aware

My psyche
Is?
What I am aware of,

But unaware, explosions
Reverberate in the Subconscious
Depth of my mind

Boom. The sparks fly.

Through all this, I am still

Oblivious

Happily trailing away
In my own world;
Everything is
Perceived

Differently,

Foggy,
But Only to you.

To me; clear,

Ordinary.

No One can disturb me,
I am drifting

Listlessly

Euphoric about my world,
Because my world is in the world,
Yet not of it...

It stretches to the outer recesses
Of the Universe

And yet

It does not escape
My head.

Staring, I

Cannot

See anything.

Yet my eyes are
Wide open.

What is the reason for this
Blindness...?

I feel

Scared.

Wait --
I can see, but what I see is

Tainted

By the

Disability

Lurking around the corner.

It deceives...

Truth

is one with

Lies.

And I am

paranoid
Of the future...
Yes, I feel it too,
the

Tension...

Pushing,

Pulling...

You must help me

out of my world...

silence.

your use of spaced out words in the lay out of this, prove that your thoughts were going round and round.
