do you picture us together, hand in hand
Do you envision being with the one you adore,
holding one another on this lonely shore

Can you feel my breath upon the midnight air,
as it caresses your breast and touches your hair
Can you see my eyes when you gaze at the moon
with the promise inside that I will be home soon

Do you sense my love when you look to the sea
In these waves, do you see a reflection of me
Will these feelings you have remain inside
Or will your love wash away with the tide

Wow. ShUdDeR// . That was was something lovely. I don't know how to explain how that made me feel. Imagine, if you will, I light in the bottom of a murky pool, it's dim with all of the filth above, but you see it, and it gives you hope. That is your work.

Blessed Be,
Tink

Very beautiful poem. I can picture it in my head.. a girl standing along the shore in a pretty dress just looking out at the moon's reflection shining against the ocean's tide.

This is an excellent piece, my friend. The style is elegant, and the emotion is there too. Very well done!
Bravo!

Ron, I love this one. It is very romantic...moonlight in the sand...and the ending leaves the reader with a little sadness and wondering if this love was meant to be...very beautiful and the rhyme is perfection.

Always...Lena
