This I promise you, that I'll be here, always
Loving everything about you
Except I lied
I promised you I'd be good,
That I'd never decieve you, ever
But I'm just like you
I lied
So there's a little girl,
Hiding away from you
Because if you hold her tonight
You'll be lying the whole night through
I promised you I'd never cry
Yet here flows a fountain, because of you
I'm everything I hate
I lied
I promised you I'd make you proud
And everyday I fall and fail
I lied, I lied, I ***** lied
So there's a little girl,
Hiding from everything you said
You shake her to reality
To everything she dreads
So here I lay, the little girl
You don't love me the way I love you
Wishing you wouldn't go
Because when you love me, I love me too
This I promise you, that I'll be here, always
Except I don't know how long always is
I lied
I'm just like you
Only I'm still here and loving you
And here I am, your little girl
Your little shame, living your lie
I promise to break my every promise
Until the day I die
