Inhuman cowardice - Paul Johnson too-
A man of ardent toil, filled with great love,
Another one that now the world can view
As nightmare vision with the head cut off.

Paul Johnson, peace and glory onto you!
Prey of the vipers spawned forth from dark hell
Oh martyr, veritable, proven true!
Let cantors chant and deep resound each bell.

What lonely death you suffered Paul, dear Paul!
To sit blindfolded ’mongst the terror horde
What dread an anguish must have filled your soul,
Your sacrifice to glorify the Lord!

Woe! - Mullahs and the Imams don’t speak up,
Their voices mum. tongue-tied,- can not be heard,
While horrors are committed by their flock.
Woe! clerics have to murder thugs deferred.

Recite, declaim with zeal from the Koran,
But turn a blind eye to atrocity,
Neglect to use authority to ban
And to denounce their subjects’ savagery. .

Custodians of their faith, that perhaps nod,
And in the cockles of their hearts agree-
Attractive and appealing to them God!
That does permit this with impunity
.
They’r tutoring a flock but don’t forbid
Nor check the terrorists’ abysmal hate,
Debasement and defilement of their creed
With butchers shouting” Allah is so great!”

Apocalyptic Nightmare Acolytes!
That grinning on pale lurid horses sit,
To spew forth chaos and extinguish light
And usher in the darkness of the pit.

How many more beheadings hold in store
For us the fiends or bombers homicide?
And nightmares horrid, oh how many more?
Of stomach-curdling views and deadly blight

Pray to the Lord, pray, pray, lest by surprise
The fiends with foul assistance have their way,
And reach their goal,-- our legacy’s demise,
Protect us from such evil Lord we pray!

War is surely a hell, but you realize he is but so many who never listen to the warnings of the ones who asked all to leave.....no he was one who merely said .that can never happen to me.......

I feel for his family, but blame him as much as his killers...why didn't he listen, and why do not the others........they make us feel the pain as well.

"Let thou have what though deserve.
For in the end we leave this world.
Dont hunt what you cannot kill.
For those with the will have the strength with gill"

Excellent poem.
